 Power Tailgate, veracruz problem

The subcontrol button at the bottom of the tailgate is not closing the gate when pressed. It just beeps. The power op. works using the key fob and driver's seat control. Has anyone had a similar problem? Thanks.

I had a similar occurance and found that the power on/off button behind the glove box door was turned off.
Don't knoiw if this is your problem--The info is on page 4-23 in the 07 vc manual
