Here goes the pic of my Santa Fe's NAV system.

The trim piece of question spans from just below the hazard switch to the top of the digital clock.

I had to rent a vehicle for work the other day, turns out to be a Santa Fe. I thought the 3 button arrangement was due to Canadian model. but the one I rented had 4 buttons, with the 4th being rear A/C. It dawned on me that this was because it was 7 passenger, and mine is 5 passenger.

So I wondering if there are 5 passenger vehicles in Korea with the same a/v trim ring in all brushed aluminum? If so, any ideas on part numbers?
Thanks
jeff

Every Korean-spec Santa Fe comes with standard 7 seats. But we have three-button Santa Fes with no rear A/C, too.
I looked up the catalog and figured it's just that NAV system is only available with the rear A/C.

If you need the trim bad, you might want to consider having four-button set up. Nobody would notice or care whether the rear A/C button is functional anyway.

FYI, the part number for the four buttons:

Hazard switch: 93790 ($3.67)
Front defogger: 93710D ($5.56)
Rear defogger: 93710C ($4.26)
Rear A/C: 93770R ($4.26)

Thanks, will give it some thought, but thinking that might be too extreme just to get the trim. Right now, with the clarion, I have pretty good matching black around, so the brushed aluminum ends at the 3 button display. Not a big deal, but sure would look alot nice with the brushed aluminum all the way up the centre.

If you are referring to my original post, it is actually supposed to be a kit according to he fellow in the Phillipines. I was hoping he might be able to get one for me, but have not had any luck with that. As it turns out, I am getting my radio changed out for a new one, so it would have been timely had I found the right one. But I guess I will have to live with a black surround. Not the end of the world, but darn the brushed aluminum one looked nice :)

Should there be a letter after the numbers for the hazard switch, as there always is a letter for the other switches listed...

According to the parts diagram, the hazard switch's part # is 93790 with no letter.

Well, I know I demand too much but do you also have the part number for the stereo + NAV system, and any idea about the approximate price of the stereo + NAV system. Then I think I could choose between a pioneer system or the original.
By the way, how do you find these part numbers?

Thanks..

If you really want a pro look to teh trim you can send it out to B&I trim and they do what's called Dipp painting. They used this process with the Accent in Canada, Great look, and you can get which ever finish you wish.

Hello,

I have bought a 2008 santa fe in France with no receiver and a simple din dashboard.

I'am looking for an original double din dashboard in order to install a GPS box.
Do you know where I may buy it, please ?

Thanks a lot.

I had the top and bottom part trimmed because my 2din headunit was over sized having 7in lcd monitor. I might have the head unit re fitted this weekend for a more flush mount

Hi doc_holiday,

Thank for the pix. Mine is not the same as yours. Mine was a 1 din kind but modify it into a 2Din but there's a small gap at the side of the player as you can see from the attached pix.

Also, can you get the spoiler for our SF? Mine is with the built in brake light version, if yes...I may want to get it from you. :)

The original mobis spoiler is available here with the third brake light. Our Santa fes here have the stock third brake light too, looks ok even with the two brake lights. The stock brake light is only visible if you are looking down on the rear. It retails here at approximately 180USD. The Washer will also be relocated to the spoiler. There are guide holes so install are a cinch. Pics shown is not mine but a fellow SF owner.

When you say relocate the washer, do you mean that we need to drill a new hole to accommodate the washer? US180, does it include painting?

NO more holes needed for the washer, theres a location on the spoiler for the washer, but new holes are needed for the spoiler attachment to the body, But there are pilot/guide marks on the body for the spoiler. I guess this spoiler is stock in some countries. It comes in black and white, other colors, painting not included, over here, painting will cost 40usd.

Hi Doc,

Thanks but I'm still wondering how are we going to remove the washer water nozzle without drilling additional hole. Pls refer to the pix i attached. Are you refering the the black nozzle at the right of the brake lamp?
