I've been given a pic of the "genesis coupe" that is said by hyundai Canada to be the next tiburon, I was told it came from an official press release.

Sorry... the Tiburon is still going to be a TIB... the Coupe is a brand new car. Official press release

Here are the highlights from the press event:

-The production version will be offered with a turbo 4-cylinder and a 300 horsepower V6
-It will have RWD
-The production version is based on the Genesis platform and will not be a replacement for the Tiburon
-The next Tiburon will take styling cues from the Veloster concept and remain FWD
-The BMW E46 M3 was used as a benchmark for the concept
-The unique curve in the rear side windows is meant to increase visibility for both the passengers and the driver
-The production version will be unveiled at the New York Auto Show next Spring

I have been saying this all along. This basically confirms my earlier posts. Maybe the veloster based car could get a turbo engine as well.
