Many people do not realise that Hyundai U.S.A. have provided a free online Workshop Manual for all the Hyundai models that are sold in America.

To use this click :-
http://www.hmaservice.com/authenticator/lo...h%2Fdefault.asp
Register (Internet Explorer required).....log-on; click `Service Information` & enter your car`s details & click the `Shop` tab.

It might be an idea to bookmark this to your favourites........& remember you can print off sections (or the whole manual!) as required.

Cheers,
Nick. :)

Greetz,

Dennis. :crying:

If yours is 1998 Excel then you can read Accent Section on HMA site. 1994+ Excel known as Accent in US.

Thanks very much for info. I'm new here (today) and the first link was to the tech web site. Great. Trying to bleed brakes on 92 Scoop and haven't had much luck.

Hi, I initially had problems viewing this page properly too.

My Fix:
I checked the home page and the system requirements, downloaded and installed the Adobe SVG Viewer (I already had Adobe Reader); I also allowed POP UPS in Windows XP and Norton's Firewall.

By the way I may be too premature, but I could not find any manuals for the Terracan CRDI.

cheers

That website requires an account. Is there any such manual for Australia? I wish to learn how to service my Hyundai Excel 1989 1.5 GL Hatchback, speically how to change oil filter? The Oil filter is not visible from the bonnet.

I bought the car 3 months ago. I change the oil from a mechanic and it is black within hours. I want to change oil and its filter within a week for next 3 weeks to make the engine clean. It hurts to see the tar black oil.

How long did it take to get your password? It's been about 2 hours now... :whistling:

It seems that the site is for Hyundai techs/employees. Am I wrong? I know the Toyota dealer has a system like this, but I can't get remote access to it.
I really need to see a flow chart for a CEL. :puzzled:

NM, apparently I entered my email wrong or something, but I got it now.
