Does anybody know approximately where the ignition coil assembly is located on a 93 Elantra (16 DOHC)??????

I'm trying to wire a tachometer myself and am struggling to find it. I have already removed the gauge cluster but it was NOT prewired for a RPM gauge so I have to do it the other way.

I need to get the green wire to negative side of coil..

Please, anyone?

Yo, if you can get faxes. call this USA number : (631) 436-6405. It is the Audiovox faxback system. they will fax wireing information for most cars. It is my secret to doing caraudio from my home. If you can get ahold of them let me know and I will get the info and email it to you.


(it has info on how to wire car alarms with remote start) which require a tach. I believe teh coil pack is located by the fuel injectors in the intake area. according to the Audiovox faxback the white wire at teh coil is the tach wire.
