Can please anyone help me cause Hyundai in Cyprus claims that they never had such an issue and need to find out the problem. When I first purchased the car it showed 484Kilometers to empty, then after a few refuelings it showed 399 to empty today it showed 371 to empty!!!!!!! IS there something I can do on my own?

Hi theodoros

Well I can answer this for you as I think you are looking at the guage in the car that shows mileage to empty tank after a refuel ok?

This figure is based on how you are driving your Tucson and the type of conditions you are driving in. If for instance you have been doing offroading or accellerating fast then your consumption goes up and the figure you are reading goes down.

It will take some miles for the Tucson to be run in and when it is you will see some stability in your mileage returns. The Tucson likes its owners to be gentle with accelleration or the fuel use goes up.
But if you want to enjoy driving your Tuc just drive it and fill up when it is empty.

Good Luck and ENJOY!!
