Hi all,

I am planning to buy a 2nd Hand Matrix 2007 model. Looking at one now.
But I been heard there are lots of problem with this model and oil consumption is abut 9 km/liter, is it true?
What special think I need to look for if I am buying the car now?

Hi there ryudo.

I bought mine in 05. Travelled close to 100K kms already.

As with any 2nd hand car, you need to do the usual checks, esp for wear n tear items.

Problems of course would come up if you dont care about the car. So far mine has been far n between when it comes to problems. Mine is the manual n local version even.

FC is quite ok, if u look at it as a heavy car, wt small engine, n strong body. Depends on whether u r heavy on the pedal most of the time or not.

Comfort-wise when travelling long-distance, is good.

For me, the uniqueness of the car says it all.

Anyway, u have the final say. Good luck!

If you are a heavy foot driver yes thats true ,but if you keep your RPMs less than 3000 i think it spends 7 l/km.No more probs for this model but it's very noise after 4000RPMs ...but if you read other car forums ,all drivers complain about noises..." is mechanical noises "nothing to worry...
but if you want a quite car try battery cars....lol
