 New Terracan Or Not

Hello all, we are the proud owners atm of an '05 Kia Carnival (which we love) & a '90 Nissan Patrol 7-seat wagon. We have 4 children. We also love the Patrol but it's getting a little long in the tooth. The Carnival is fantastic & suits us perfectly. It only has 1 problem - it's only a 2-wheel-drive.
We are starting to toss up options for a new 7-seat 4WD & the Terracan is on the shortlist. Are there any problems to watch out for, particularly on the 3.5 V6 petrol version? Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

One problem with 3.5 V6 - good fuel appetite.
I guess up to 20 liter/100 km is easy ;-)

No worse than my Patrol then! :) There's always lpg. Wonder if anyone's put a Terracan onto lpg yet? Anyone?
