Hi All,
Over recent weeks my wife has reported a noise , but i've never heard it when investigating it, until last night when a neighbour came round to report a strange noise coming from the car.
It was pitch black so I promised to look at the car today, I work early shifts so said to my wife i'll take your matrix you can use my car, 5.30 this a.m i'm their with jump leads.......not happy, figured the fault had drained the battery.

Anyway the fault can be best described as the central locking trying to engage/disengage rapidly but not quite doing so, almost like trying to start a car with a flat battery(rapid clicks) now it does'nt do this for long . My first thought was to look at the relays ...!st problem where it ? not with the rest of them .
2nd problem main dealer wants 75 quid an hour dont want to go there just yet

So i'm looking to some knowledgable folk here.
Firstly to locate the relay and secondly if anybody has come across this very same problem and made a self fix?
Cheers in advance Aflar

Operate the central locking system to see if all the inner handles are operating properly and are not sticking. Then you will have to see if yours has an ETAC system or not. Then have an auto electrician have a look unless your in Essex then I can for a lot less than £75 an hour
