I also had an XPS 700 last year except it had Windows XP.
Mine had Core 2 Duo E6600
2 GB DDR2667 Memory
Geforce 7950 GX2
Sound Blaster X-Fi
320 GB Hard drive

That thing was a monster! I love it when you turn it on, made a vroom sound! Too bad I returned it wanted to wait for Direct X 10 :(

Nice, a fellow XPSer ! I'll show a pic of MY monitor:

Seriously ... the wife and I are both running identical XPS 410s in our office. Each with a 22" widescreen and a 19" normal - all four LCDs. Both with 2GB of RAM, 256MB vid, RAID1 10,000 RPM SATAs, 7.1 surround, etc. Oh, and the infamous 1066MHz FSB. :) and Vista Ultimate. I'm thinking about bumping mine up to 4GB of RAM and Vista 64Bit (so it will see it). I'm sure I will before long since Vista or any other MS product doesn't cost me a dime.

A good friend of mine at work recently picked up the 30" Dell Ultra ... makes his 19" look tiny ! It does take a healthy vid card to make it run right.

Ahh the good ol days of being a Dell tech support monkey!
They're comming out with a new All-in-one. Think XPS in iMac form.
