You cannot get a hitch reciever for the 08' Veracruz at all. The dealers cannot even order them, the part numbers don't exist.
Apparently the 07' will not fit. I called eTrailer and they have no info.

This is BS!

"Hello, we'd like to get an oil change on our new car..."
"We're sorry sir, the company doesn't make filters yet."

This is the part where the Korean aspect starts to show through. Kinda like when the compnay advertises Nav and you can't even get it.

I would be very surprized if they changed the underpinning from the 07 to 08. Hidden Hitch has to actually test fit their product on a 08 before claiming it works. Probably just not listed yet as the 08's are still very new. I suggest you go to a place where they sell and install the hidden hitch brand. They will tell you if it fits or not. They will also likely be more competant at installing it as this is what they do all the time. The Hyundai dealer may install a few dozen a year at best.

I was told by Hyundai customer service they are not the same part. Also, I believe they would simply sell the 07' receiver under the same part number or at least sell them period, if they fit.

All manufacturers' will sell parts for the next model if interchangeable, right away.

Corp told me they were 3-4 months away from release. This wouldn't be so if they were the same part.

I called Hidden-Hitch and they couldn't tell me when they'd have one. 3-4 months they speculated as well.
