i debadged my accent today and also got installed my new muffler! it sounds very good and it feels good too, here are some pics









next --> eibach springs and rims


im tinking about 215/40 or 205/40 R17 what do you think?

Looks good! I noticed the Dodge emblem on the trunk, so yours is the Dodge version of the Accent that they sell in Mexico (Dodge Attitude?) That's cool! I haven't seen many pics of those. :)

Great looking car you have there, always good to see a sharp 4-door around. There aren't many here who have the 4-door, most seem to have the hatch. Looking forward to seeing what else you do with it. :)

the sound its really good i dont know how to describe it buy i will upload a video later so you can hear it.

and the debadging went pretty smooth i like it

yeah mine its a dodge attitude but it is the same, they just changed the emblems :S we dont have hyundai in mexico but dodge brought the accent here and named it dodge attitude. im going to do some more stuff with my accent

Where did you get the dodge emblem? Are the badges easy to remove? What tips can you offer us? Muffler, easy install or did the local muffler shop do some welding? Nice Attitude! :beer:

Down in Mexico the Accent is sold by Dodge. Not sure why this is. As for teh Muffler Yah he would need the hangers welded on my a local shop.

well i bought it with the dodge emblem haha... we do not have hyundai in mexico :crying: so dodge brought the accent... the previous accent generation came with the hyundai emblem and was called verna lol like the korean

i got the muffler in ebay and the welder installed

I debadged last weekend and I gotta tell ya, on a black SE it looks mighty clean to not have that stuff on the back. And yes, it was real easy to do. I used the fishing line method followed by "goo off" (be patient) followed by a good cleaning/polishing/waxing. Can't tell at all.

yea i used floss, some wd-40, and wax and it is perfect :)
