Good choice on the Sonata. I couldn't wait to get rid of my 2001 Chevy Malibu. Trans went out at 38k miles, intake gasket went at 42k miles, and brake replacements that never seem to stop!

I think it's more of a matter of picking the right American car if you want to buy one. There are plenty that are just as reliable and any foreign job. For instance, the last Mustang I sold was an 87 5.0, all original, with 252,000 on the odometer that didn't smoke a bit or use any oil. Yep, 20 years old ... but does she look it ?

Good looking Stang Madder & I 100% agree. My first car was a 69 Mustang.....Man what I'd give to have that baby back. The new Mustang has very good reviews & some of the new AMERICAN cars are looking pretty good.

Thanks man. Don't tell anyone but I paid $1,500 for her (Jenny). Got her from the original owner, a higher-up guy at work. He had hip surgery and couldn't handle the clutch any more. The interior was just as nice as the exterior.

love the fox body mustangs!
i had a candy apple red 69 mach 1 (450hp) **** i miss it ......really thinking of either gettin another one or gettin a newer one....all the looks and none of the up keep...lol

the older (read 64) ones are really nice but the news shouldnt have that name plate...i hate it when they take an almost iconic name plate and put it on such a undeserving car....ie the nova of the 80s ....
