Hi Folks,
The pressure from my windscreen washers on my Terracan have reduced to almost nothing. You can hear the pump running but there is only a trickle of water as if it has run out. The vehicle is still under its 5 year warranty if the worst comes to the worst but I was wondering if there was a simple cause like the pump air locking. Has anybody had washer problems on the Terracan.

it is one ofn three things.1 the washer jets are partly blocked, 2 the pump itself is worn out, or 3 and the most likely, there is a small wire filter that is fitted to the pump outlet and it gets blocked up, however it means removing the pump to clear the filter

Many Thanks for your quick reply. I checked the jets by disconnecting the feed pipe and blowing through the pipe and they appear to be clear. How do you access the pump to check the filter as it is possibly blocked? The washer reservoir appears to be concealed within the front wing cavity.
