Hi!

I'm replacing the stock radio on my brother's '01 Accent with the 1.5L engine.

I've looked all over the place and nobody can tell me what the color codes for the radio wiring are.

The Internet has turned up nothing, there is no Haynes/Chilton repair manaul for it, and I'm frustrated.

Does anyone here know what color wire does what?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I have an 03 accent. The deck is different than the one shown. The face of the deck pictured has rounded buttons and just looks different from mine. So I'm assuming the entire deck is different. So the question is, are the wires the same?

Because my friend and I tried to install a new stereo tonight. We spent about 3 hours and in the end there was no sound. So I don't know. We didn't mess with the speakers- just stereo installation. Of course there was radio sound before.

I'm in a crappy situation right now because my dash is all torn apart and the stereo doesn't work. Like the other guy, I have no clue how to navigate around that hyundai service site. So if someone could get me the picture for the wire harness for the 03 tape deck, that would be fantastic. Any other help would be fantastic.
