Start saving up dude, start saving, getting teh first one made up now. So won't be long. If we can get 10 people we'll get a discount. **** I'll though in a hat or Tshirt and stickers to those that buy one.

Well ragular price will be around $400 - $600 depending if you go Scooped or OEM. I'll be paying around the $600 mark since it'll be the first one but I'm willing to do this since I seem to have the extra cash and was willign to do this anyways. The group buy will be even cheaper than these prices.

OK It's Nov 5th. We need to nail down the type of hood. So place your Votes. I'd do a pole but it won't work for some reason....

My vote, OEM

...yet
Besides they'll at least benefit you a little bit if you have the SRI, all the cool air you need.

I think this one would look pretty good, it matches the curves on the car pretty well.

Or this

This is for a Mustang but something smaller like this would work.

STI...of course
(IMG:http://www.boomplustoys.net/images/JDM%20Subaru/JDM%20Subaru%20STI%20Hood%20Scoop2.JPG)

just a few ideas

That is the reason why Group Buys have trouble getting done. We need people to take a little leap of faith. More people on the first buy, better the price for all.

I dont mind the scoop.... i jsut want a CF HOOD. but most people look like they want OEM style which i dont mind as well........... u choose Komptek. honestly since ur setting this up. getting a CF HOOd with or w/o a scoop is a whole lot better than a OEM factory hood.

OK those that can afford a hood by xmas, send me an email. They will be OEM sytle hoods. But no reason you couldn't cut and install you own scoop afterwards, you'll just need to paint the hood than. But I think most of us will be painting the hood anyways. I'll be leaving a V pattern shape carbon in the center.

Make sure to send your email address as well. Price should be no higher than $550. I'm trying to get them for about $450 maybe less.

mike@komptek.com

Once I get the names I'll do pre-order on these.
