Well, I have an 2004 XG350 probably similar in every respect to the Grandeur. I had a Sonata and traded it for the XG. The ride is softer compared to a Sonata and the car feels more substantial while driving on the highways. Fuel consumption is so-so lets just say that i travel back and forth from work, approx 300 miles a week and usually top off the tank once a week.

:P :P hi timbo the granduer will give you an softer ridebut if you drive like a shoferr it's not an problem, as for fuel consumption mine does 5 to6lts/100kls sitting on cruese controle@105k/hr, but in the city it's 7.3lts/100, you know the expression lead foot well i drive with an feather foot steady never in a hurry saves 30 percent on fuel
better for your wear & tear.
