Does anyone here ahve any experience with Euro Dezign halogen headlamps? I was thinking about picking a pair up, but was curious to see if any one has any feed back regarding them.

Their website is: http://www.eurodezigns.com/index.htm and I am considering the 8500K blues.

Thanks in advance.

sure they looks nice and all...........but it doesn't illuminates well. and when you find that it doesn't brighten up your night. you decide to adjust the headlamp beam of sight which results in the rising the bloos pressure on the incoming traffic!

stick to stock or like wise.

Ok-gotcha. Gotta say, they would have looked nice though....

Any thoughts on the Sylvania Silver Stars? I drive mostly at night, and any extra illumination I can get helps.

Silverstars light the road nicely, I've had them in two different cars and liked the output. Very clean, very white. But they're expensive and their longevity is beyond dismal, IMHO. I went through four 9003's in less than a year on the last car, also had two 9006's in the fogs which both blew after about 8 months. Others I know of who had the bulbs also had just as rotten luck, so it wasn't my car... I couldn't justify continuing to spend $20 bucks a pop for replacements, the extra output wasn't worth it to me anymore.

If you can find them for cheap (sometimes they have good deals at the major parts stores) and you don't mind replacing them often, they are good bulbs. I'll never buy them again, nor any other sort of fancy bulb for that manner, I'll just keep the dull, dim, yellowish stock stuff and still have them working a few years down the road.

I don't know why people have such bad luck with Silverstars, I had them in my last truck for about a year and a half before I sold it, and the current truck has had them in the high beams for almost 3 years without issue, and since I live in a rural area a lot of my night driving is done with the highbeams on.
