Can anybody tell me any information of how to bypass the hyundai trajet engine immobiliser? When I'm driving, the engine cuts out (at any speed) and I beleive the immobiliser is the cause of the problem. If I alarm and disarm with the key fob the central locking/ immobiliser, the vehicle immediately restarts.

It could be the key(do you have 2 on the ring) , the immobiliser antenna , ecu, immobiliser unit, wiring plus numerous other small items. Its best you get it checked out. If it is the immob system it will have recorded a fault code. If your in Essex -I can do it for you.

I have the same problem now and then but never while driving. Engine (diesel) just won't start. After locking and unlockung with the remote control (sometimes several times) it starts and runs without further problems.
If you find the cause of this problem, please let me know.

Rgds, Sparks

No, problem never solved. Still happens now and then.
Not a clue what is the cause.
