Hi living in the UK I've never had much use for the Air con but since we're getting a bit of sun for a change it would really come in handy! Probable is it's never worked, the light comes on and theres a small noise from under the bonet meaning something is happening but inside the car nothings getting cooler! I've tried leaving it on for ages with the window up but still no joy.

I'm useless at fixing cars but is there anything I could have a look at my self before I get a pro to fix it?

One small thing also, how can I safely pop the clock out? It keeps flickering and looks just like a loose wire or something but I've got no idea how to get it out without damaging the interior.
