Does anyone in the U.K. own a Terracan Limited Edition with the DVD mounted in the roof interior. I have just bought a used 2004 version and have been told by the main dealer that the fiiting of this unit removes the door operated interior lighting!! I can't believe this is true and wonder why the previous owners bought the car with no automatic interior lighting. I have checked the roof wiring and it has two lives -one to Accessories via ignition key and two earths, neither of which is switched. Can anyone help please?

Thanks Donrookie - that's a big help. My DVD unit has a built in light which, according to the DVD instructions should be wired to come on with opening doors but the wires in it are not connected. Hyundai must have made a change to the car if yours works. I will get back to Hyundai as they have told me it was not possible.

A question for you now. Does the seatbelt warning light work in your model?
Mine flashes as the self test sequence runs on start up then nothing, even if no one is wearing a belt front or rear!!!!

Ours is the same. My hubby has a bad habit of not wearing it unless on long journeys. The light flashes as he starts the Terracan but then goes out. I wished it stayed on. I am always telling him to belt up, but does he listen. :whistling:

We have the 07 Limited Edition and the lights on the roof DVD go out a couple of minutes after shutting the doors. There is a delay on ours.

Yes donrookie our main hobby is caravanning. We rally with our small club most weekends and holidays. Home this weekend as rally cancelled due to not enough members going. Our Terracan is a great towing vehicle.
