Yes, it's possible and they are doing it (excludes SRT models and it only applies to the original owner). They need to do it because Chrysler engines and transmissions are crap. I know, I own a Chrysler minivan that needed the trans replaced at 35K. Even with a lifetime warranty, I still wouldn't buy another Chrysler product.

so...if the engine dies due to its mechanical failure at 200,000 miles, are they still willing to fix the failure under warranty?

own a 07 hyundai and my auto tranny is acting up at 3000miles!

alot of the older chrylers and dodges had tranny problems the intrepid jumps to ming they would crap out all the time friend owned one she had three trannies put in hers before she sold it!
