Finally got around to getting my blue clock mod in! The only problem is I scratched the plastic around the thermostat controls. Probably can’t get rid of these scratches, anyone got any ideas for perhaps hiding them or maybe making them less noticeable? Other then these scratches I like this mod, because it matches my radio. See pics for clock and scratches below.

Edit: o and sorry for the quality of the pictures....taken with my phone.

pretty sweet clock, do you have matching speedo or just hu?

I think you should have put the HU in the bottom compartment. well the top is more intuitive and heads up. just my 2 cents

Nice clock.

Shame about the pry marks around your heater controls, about the only thing I know of to get rid of them is to gently trim them down with a sharp knife.

Don't take off much material, just shave them slightly.

Next mod suggestion:

Electric tape over the "Passenger air bag" display. hat was one of my very first mods.

It's retarded, that so much of the purchase price of the car goes towards keeping a "safety feature" from killing you or your family.

Tell me more about your mod, though. What did you buy, how did you do it?

Lookin' good! I've got so many blue lights I want to do it, too. Where did you find the clock and how did you get the factory clock out?

so replaced a few surface mount LEDs around the LCD wasn't an option?

would of most likely been cheaper than buying a clock that someone else modded already

That is likely what was done, but not very many people have the equipment or knowledge to solder SMT leds.
Pretty easy to lift a trace, then you need to buy a new clock anyway.
