I just read this post...
http://townhall-talk.edmunds.com/WebX?14@@.f0c817f/714

Sounds like he contacted Hyundai and verified that it will be available next month. No word on pricing.

I think it's already there if you have the rear entertainment system. I know I can hit the mode button on the steering wheel until I get to "RSE" (rear seat entertainment) The Ipod plugs into the aux jacks in the rear center console and then you select the "source" input. I have not tried this yet (IPOD connection) but I do know I can listen to DVD's or CD's used in the rear over the entire system if I select the RSE function. Kinda cool since the kids can listen to their own stuff over the headphones while we listen to what we want up front. If desired, I select RSE and can listen to what they got playing in the back.

I have talked to the Hyundai Parts at the dealership I just bought my VC from and he said it states in their system "Coming Soon" and has been like this for about 1 year.

I have had mine installed forever. Check this thread for the part number. I had to go to my dealer with the part number to order it. They didn't even know it was available.

I now use this thing all the time to play movies on my iPhone in the car for my daughter. It was a lifesaver when we moved across the country recently. There were a few spots along the way where it would get interference but it would only last a little while.

As Kevio states, this has been available for quite some time. I know you can pick one up at the Hyundai Accessory Store (Gary Rome Hyundai) online. If you register, you can get an extra 11% off the sale price as well. I bought the Veracruz Bluetooth kit from them and was very satisfied with their service and support.

Here'a a link to the Auxiliary Input there:

I don't think Hyundai's communications to their dealers is that great; there seems to be a lot of confusion at the dealer level with respect to parts availability.

Verified the part is real. I called and ordered the part from my Hyundai dealer today where I bought my 07 SE 2 weeks ago. I pick it up tomorrow. It took me 1 hour to take the **** AC vents off tonight. I will leave them off until I finish the aux input install tomorrow.

Here is a weird twist on the AUX input. It works with a Nano and the full-size IPOD, but not with the original Shuffle.

And yes, I did tune the FM to 88.3mhz.

Any reason why it wouldn't work with the Shuffle?
