My A/T suffered a malfunction a week ago . It is programmed in
This case to shift to 3ad gear as a fail safe measure . the read code
For the type of error was PO 765 which is a problem in the (OD)
Solenoid . The mechanic made an offer for 150 usd to change the
Solenoid .
I found it suitable to practice my electronics and mechanics skills
I found the solenoid open circuit , that means either the winding
Is open or the wire leading to the solenoid is open . I had to
Open the A/T to track the error . I empted the A/T oil , opened
The cover and removed the solenoid which was found to be open.
I bought a new one for 70 usd , and decided to change the a/t oil
Full flush which means I need 7.3 L of the SP III oil .
All went all right , the Trajet now is fine :banana:
