2000 Sonata, TIMING BELT??

Newbie Group: Members Posts: 1 Joined: 11-January 05 Member No.: 3,874 Status: Location: APPLETON CITY, MO 64724 Drives: SONATA	I love my Sonata I bought new in 2000 and have had little trouble with it until now. I still have warrenty but just on the power train. Got in her one morning and all she'd do was whirr at me when I hit the starter. Sounded just like the starter had gone out. Bought a new starter and put in on and still get the same sound. Had dealer pick up to fix. I'm scared to death this isn't under warrenty and will cost an arm and a leg to fix. Any suggestions as to what's wrong and what the cost to fix would be?
