Being honest.....forget it!.
The n.a. Scoupe & the Turbo cars are SOOO different!.
All you can do with a n.a. Scoupe is basically IHE.......intake, headers & exhaust.
A cold air induction kit is fine, as is a mandrel-bent cat-back exhaust system.....(mine cost £340 about 6 years ago!).....these will give you an extra 10/12 b.h.p. on an n.a.car.
Headers will cost more than the value of the car.......& will only take the power-gain up to around 15 b.h.p. (after you`ve done the 2 previously-mentioned mods.!).
Remember, the last Mk. II Scoupes are at least 12 years old now & are priced accordingly!!. Absolutely perfect Turbo cars might just attract some interest if the mileage is under 80K., but anything less than this will attract no attention from buyers.......& in the U.K. at least, you will have to pay a scrapper to take them away!.
Sorry to be realistic, but my advice would be to save your money, run your car into the ground & then buy something more modern. This is just what I will be doing in a few month`s time........which is heart-breaking as my car is perfect & has never `missed a beat` in almost 9 years of ownership!.
Cheers, Nick. :whistling:

Topini,
I agree with Valkyrie. I have been reading your posts on modifying this Scoupe for months now. Your project planning is taking a long time.
You should always determine if you put $4,000 or Finnish equivalent into a car, it better be worth that much more if you were to sell it right away. If the car will not be worth $4,000 more (or Finnish equivalent) then just buy a Scoupe turbo and get a guaranteed working product.
In the U.S. the price of a used 2001 Corvette is now $20K. If someone is talking about modifying a 2003-2007 Tiburon and spending $4K to $7K, I tell them to go buy the Corvette. They will not get their investment back for the cost of those modifications on a Tiburon.

Yeap, I'm in the army now, so I don't have much of free time so that's why my project is taking a long time. And in Finland 2001 Corvette is a little more expensive than 20000$. And I love my car, i'm planning to keep it as long as possible. :57:
