Drives: Hyundai excel 1996
i just installed a new stereo to my 1996 exel. all going well until when i went for a drive tonight the dash lights didnt work. did i short something? did the dash lights connect to the old stereo? any help would be great.

hi
have you checked the fuse for the dash lights? is it just the dash or is it your headlights too? im guessing that when you connected the stereo you've shorted the dash light circuit blowing the fuse, depends where you've joined all your wires and if it's earthed properly, i'd say re-check all your wiring and make sure i'ts soldered and taped properly. see how you go.
