I think this subject needs its own Topic

Airflow Meters are Very Delicate things the MAF's can Easily Be destoryed even By Vibration so you have been warned

This MAF Sensor have a much better flow than the stock one. (no fins in the mittel)
Stock one have 67(70)mm and my one have 76(80)mm.
You can buy it, when you wont!

I can not belive that this "bybass" System works!

When you reach a other limit you must drive w/o MAF Sensor. *g* MAP,RPM and thottel!!!

That Statment made me Think u were using a differnt MAF Sesnor/Element.
Although i knew it was a Scoupe Scoupe GT element just in Bigger Housing....

he!

its selfmade. I take the stock MAF Sensor off and put into a bigger pipe! So the Air flow is higher but the Volt to the ECU is the same. Or Airflow is the same but Volt to the ECu is lower!!!

Stock MAF @ 1,4bar = 1500U/min 8%, 2500U/min 20%, 3500U/min 70%, 4250U/min 100% (maxed out)

Mod. MAF @ 1,4bar = 1500U/min 5%, 2500U/min 12%, 3500U/min 38%, 4500u/min 50%

This is Probablt the Best Info i Have Every Seen on the Scoupe i knew the Airflow/votage was maxed out but thanks for the Info Homez!!!!!!

When you discoved this 4250rpm Voltage Maxout, what all/else did u change besides the "Bigger Airflow Meter". im Building a Bigger one this Weekend!

QUOTE
****As the body of an airflow meter is increased in size, the voltage output from the sensor will be reduced. This is because the air speed through the meter is lower and so the sensing element sees less air going past. So if you upsize the airflow meter but don’t make any electronic changes to its output, the air/fuel ratio will be lean as the ECU will think that there’s less air going into the engine than there really is.****
