Hello,
Has anyone changed out to a high flow muffler. Just an interesting question.

Scott

Hi Scott

If its only the sound that you are interested in, than go with a high-flow muffler. There are any number of universal high-flow mufflers out there that make more noise than anything else. If you are after increased performance, then I would suggest a cat-back exhaust (CBE) system for the Azera. I don't know of any website or company that currently sells the CBE for the Azera but I bet that a good muffler shop could custom-make it for you. The price might be steep though.

Good luck

Peter

Yes, we cobbled a 'high-flow' cat back system that made about 22 more hp but was way too loud to use. Way too. But some work might pay off. Barely acceptable cat backs for the G35 at about $1000 supposedly get 30 hp more.

Back in the day, "cut-outs" were popular with the hot-rod crowd, though not so popular with the neighbors and the state troopers...
