Mine had this same problem the first time that I put it back together.

If its not a leak from the vacuum hoses, then check the charge pipe that runs between the turbo and the throttle body, as the hose joiners at the top and bottom often split. If that lets air in then it will run lean, and stall all of the time.

Peace out x

Goddamned, I checked all hoses and sprayed every connector I could find. But no, it just won't get up.

I took these videos with my phone to show you guys my problem.

What scoupe does on first video, is what it usually does when I start it a first time. And on second video it won't even start. I'll have to wait a coupple of minutes, then it starts.

I got new spark plugs, wires, my battery is up and running, and yes, I got fuel but no.

First start: (it reacts throttle for a while, then stalls)

and after the first start has failed: (doesn't even react throttle at all)

When last did you replace your starter?

PS: if you cannot get the Turbo heagasket get a copper one custom made, if you cannot get a custom copper one made get the stock gasket but use ARP Bolts!

How could this problem be caused by starter, because my car basicly starts, but shuts down?

Hmmm, how the ignition timing work on these cars? Normally on older cars, you can rotate the ignition control module to change ignition timing, but not on this car.

EDIT: And I have the original turbo headgasket

Yep, so i finally got my error codes readed, my problem is the phase sensor. I think this is the same as camshaft position sensor. So no wonder my car won't work. I bought new distributor. When i got it I hope my car will work again :57:

So, I finally got my distributor, changed it and my car stays on

Now I took it from garage outside and soon engine light starts to burn. I read error codes and it gives 4151 - Air/Fuel Control Failure. Whatta ****. I didn't drive it besides outside my garage because I don't have plates yet, will get them tomorrow and take my car for a ride.

That error code can't be due to engine coolant sensor (changed it) nor lambda (it doesn't use the lambda before the engine has warmed).

If you can get a Original Scoupe Head gasket take a pic and show us, Because i am to understand the Stock Scoupe gasket is also metal so it could handle some turbo abuse, compare to the accent which is not metal..

Hmmm, I bought my gasket directly from Hyundai so it should be original turbo gasket? It was metal. I think I have pics in my camera, will chek it out.
