Hello again peeps

Was in town today and some **** driving a lorry hit my car from behind sending us 10 meters into the road of a box junction in manchester city centre , cant tell you the damage as i havent seen it ,but the best part was whilst i was in agony they drove off and left us .

We got his reg number and wrote it down , i was carried out of my car on a spinal board and strapped to it with blocks next to my head to stop it moving , so most of the day was a blur , as iam disabled with an existing back problem and mobility problems me and my wife was kept in hospital for several hours before we was allowed to go home .
We both are suffering with whip lash but my car is in a compound waiting for insurance company to collect and asses damage and my electric scooter was in the back of the car so iam hoping that hasnt been damaged as iam really dependant on it , my other wheelchair we have at home is where iam pushed around so need some one there so have to wait for my kids to come home from school as my wife cant push me with having a sore back and whiplash.
will let you all know whats going on as soon as i know , just hope they can provide me with another car tomorrow thats automatick :(

yours fed up and sore

Dear rabbit,

Glad to hear you are back and not driving that Chrysler minivan.

If you got the reg number, how long should it take for the police to find your lorry driver? At least to trace the lorry?

I know it does not take long to trace a legal vehicle but if the police over here are on shifts and other operations come up then things like mine go down the list , if you know what i mean.

we are both still sore and aching but hope to be back to normal in a few weeks and my wife wnats to get back to work .

Update to forum is that we got phone call from police saying they are going to court with the company that owned the HGV and the driver will also apear in court for accident , failing to stop and failing to report an accident .
