I would like to have installed either XM or SIRIUS satellite radio in my 2007
HYUNDAI ENTOURAGE with premium entertainment system.
Anyone have any suggestions about where to mount the radio on the dash
and who I can trust to do it ? Also where to mount the reciever and the
antenna ? :liebe011:

The only online stuff I have seen about aftermarket radios in the Entourage is here. I know it isn't satilite radio but it might give you ideas of where to start.

I have been looking at radios from BestBuy and from Circuit City.

Best Buy:

Kenwood Model: DPX302
50W x 4

Apple® iPod™/Satellite Radio/HD-Ready CD Deck w/ MP3 Playback

* 50 watts peak power (22 watts RMS) x 4 channels

* Satellite Radio-ready: compatible with XM and SIRIUS Satellite Radio (XM or SIRIUS tuner, antenna and subscription required for activation)

* HD Radio compatibility: displays information from HD Radio broadcasts (HD radio delivers CD-quality sound from compatible stations in areas where HD Radio is available; requires additional tuner, not included)

Alpine 50W x 4 Model: IDA-X001

Apple® iPod™/Satellite/HD Radio-Ready Deck
Model: IDA-X001

This Bluetooth-ready in-dash deck lets you make and receive calls on your compatible cell phone without lifting a finger. When you're done connecting with friends and family, connect your iPod and jam to your favorite tunes.

* Satellite Radio-ready: compatible with XM and SIRIUS Satellite Radio (XM or SIRIUS tuner, antenna and subscription required for activation)
* HD Radio compatibility displays information from HD Radio broadcasts (HD Radio delivers CD-quality sound for compatible stations in areas where HD Radio is available; requires additional tuner, not included)
* Apple® iPod™ Full Speed Connection (USB cable included) for a quick and simple connection; iPod functions include quick search and percentage search

Circuit City:

JVC HD Radio Receiver (KD-HDR1)

Unlike the others this comes with the HD Radio installed. There is a $40 adaptor for iPod.

• HD radio
• 50 watts x 4 peak power
• iPod/Satellite radio-ready

• MP3/WMA compatible
• Gold-plated terminals
• Remote control

There you go.. Note: Best Buy still has no Double Din "DD" radio kits for the Entourage. Circuit City does. The DD kits are made for the Entourage and come in single din with a storage slot, or DD that would take up the whole room.

The Kenwood is the only DD. The others are all single.

Good Luck.
