still, if you were to purchase a gold gti, you could of spent that money on a 4G63 and a complete HKS Forged Package along with a full custom leather interior, new diff/lsd, new suspension, brakes, bodykit and respray.
doin' up a car is suprisingly cheap actually.

Hi :57: ,
Having owned one of the original Cooper S models, I'd obviously be tempted to have one.
For Q ship value, I'd have the Seat.
I've seen one in a street fight, slapping an Alfa 156 and a Vtec Honda(both slammed, wheeled and exhausted) silly.
A point and shoot device on rails.
Cheers,
Andrew B) .

The Civic Type R rocks! If you want a car that can perform really well on a circuit or on the average roads, then you should go for the Civic. It has 200bhp and that super i-VTEC Honda engine! Despite the Leon and the Megane having more power, 225 bhp, they are heavier than the Civic and don't handle as good. None of the other cars would beat the Civic in a circuit (considering they're all stock), unless it had way too long straights where the top speed of the Leon could make some difference.

1) Honda Civic Type R (EP3)
Bleh, it may have power, but it's honda, and we all know that honda = no torque.
2) Seat Leon Cupra R
Not available to Canada.
3) Golf GTi (the new one)
I dig it, big time.
4) Mini Cooper S works
Yay!
5) Renault Megane Sport 225
Not available to Canada.
6) Ford Focus RS
Ford is overpriced here.
Tie between 3 and 4

Yeah the Honda doesn't have much torque, but still it would beat any of the other cars! The Golf is cool but it hasn't the "brutalaty" of the Civic and doesn't handle as well.
How about the Mazda RX-8?? That's a fine car, though fuel consumption is quite high, but it handles well and is very fast! ****, it did the same time as the 350Z and the BMW M3 on Top Gear's circuit

The rx-7 beats the rx-8 in every single way. Way more initial power as well as power potential.

Well, I'm talking about stock cars! And a stock tiburon would never beat a stock Civic Type-R. If you have enough money you can even beat a Porsche 911 with a Tiburon hehehehehe, that would be sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet! Anyway, it doesn't matter if the Honda engine's don't have enough torque, they still kick ****. If you want lots of torque just buy a big V10 Diesel like the Volkswagen Phaeton 4.0 V10 TDI, that has sh*it loads of torque
