My 1997, dark green, has started to bubble on just the hood. It is getting worse. Is there anything besides having it buffed and painted that can stop the clear coat from come off the whole hood?

Hi,
Mine's a dark green 98 and bubbling too, but underneath the base coat and shows the primer in tiny spots. I reckon it's a contaminant lying on the surface before the next coat - could be moisture or just left too long between coats.
I'll try to post again when I have more time.
Paint and Hyundais don't seem to mix.
