Time for new tires on my Tucson.

What do you people suggest?

Live in Canada so I need a ALL SEASON tire.

What did you pay for your set of 4?

how are they in the snow? my wife's 07 Tucson's BS Duelers are horrendous in the snow, so i was thinking of swapping them out.. i like the TRZ's but I wont get them for my '06 Sonata (speed rating not high enough), but for the Tucson they should be great....

They delivered mine in just a day. Thats because of their large warehouse network.

Just to add to this recommendation: they are great all around, summer, rain and snow, but you pay with high road noise. And a few extra loonies, off course.
One of my tires started delaminating after only 1 year (33,000km), probably because of poor allignement but I will never know for sure.

I actually went with the Yokohama AVID, too. I don't live in a tremendously snowy climate, but I've found that these tires, while costing me just a touch in mpg, behave very, very well in all the weather the Midwest has to offer. I'm very happy. Even with FWD, I feel confident wherever I am.

they cost you more MPG's than the DUELERS?? i find that somewhat hard to believe... unless you had something else on yours to begin with...

Did you replace your tires due to normal wear n tear, or did you have a problem with them. I ahve replaced my front tires 3 times in 3 years and Hyundai says they can't find anything wrong. Got any ideas?

I have had alignments regularly...and Hyundai has NO explanation.
Anyone else with this problem????

Thanks
Cram

I got rid of my Tuscon for the Tyre wear problem especially on rear wheels, I was only averaging about 20,000 Kms whatever brand I put on.Hyundai actually replaced the first two to wear after only 11000Kms from new.
I now have a Elantra. :3gears: :3gears:

I was in the market for tires too for my 2005 Tucson GLS V6 4WD and went on the tirereack website to do some research. Pleasantly surprised the Kumho Solus KR21 scored as one of the best tires (5 out of 5) and got great reviews. At $77.00 U.S. a tire, they are a great deal.

Here in Toronto, you can get them through OK Tire Stores or have them shipped in from the tirerack website too (cheaper option I think).
