New Stereo Receiver 2002 Elantra Gt?

Newbie Group: Members Posts: 2 Joined: 22-June 07 Member No.: 31,924 Status: Location: WI, USA Drives: elantra 2002 GT	In my car (Hyundai Elantra 2002 GT) I currently have a http://www.epinions.com/pr-Pioneer_DEH-14_In-Dash_CD_Player installed. This was installed before I got the car so I have no clue about installing stereo systems. (Which is why I'm here). I want to get http://walmart.scosche-cars.com/products2/...oductID=4744710 so I have the aux input and the usb/memory card ports. Do I need to buy anything else beyond just what I linked? Like can I just take off my current stereos faceplate and put this one on? Or is it not that simple...

Well of course you never splice any factory wires. You buy the adapter that plugs into your factory harness behind the radio. The adapter will be all loose wires on the other side. Then you take the adapter that comes with the radio. One sides plugs into the radio and the other is all loose wires. Its all color coated. Just gotta be careful if you have an power antenna or plan to add an amp to that radio. This post has been edited by Hyundai101: Jun 29 2007, 07:20 PM
