QUOTE(MiamiLX @ Jun 25 2007, 07:07 PM) Well wait man. You're making 93G and you can't spring for the Electric Seat. And you would love the V6, always up to speed!.
What can I say.....I'm CHEAP....when it comes to cars. Actually I just wanted to lease a Sonata and the 4cyl was all that Hyundai was offering for lease. I test drove it and found the 4cyl to fast enough for me.....was going 85 on the hwy seamlessly.....not to mention I have only a $135/mo lease payment.

Ok, I have a pretty solid career, and I probably earn a little more than the average Sonata owner. Last year I netted $112,326, and I bought myself a 2007 Sonata GLS last month. I can afford a decent mid-class Mercedes if I wanted to... but why? Ever take a good look at your Sonata? It's a sharp looking car, with alot of class to it. If you work a full time job, and you have a reliable set of wheels to get you there, then you are doing just fine, and screw anybody who says differently.
I'm making over $100k a year, why should society dictate the value of the car I'm driving? Screw that! I don't want a Mercedes, I want my Sonata, and it has just as much class as a Mercedes at a much better price.
And by the way, I'm a commercial/corporate pilot, and I'm always around egotistical millionaires, billionaires, powerful celebrities and snippy politicians, and on quite a few occasions over the last month I've heard... "nice car"! Yep, thank you Hyundai for designing a classy car at a nice price... -Brian

With time Hyundai will become a "big player" like Honda, Toyota, Volkswagen, Nissan (Datsun), etc... The product quality is there now.
The only problem I see with Hyundai is it's dealerships. They are most often in poor areas of town, in old run down buildings and their salespeople are the WORST in the business. I had one ask me why did I want a car like the Accent when there were "better" cars. Not exactly a selling statement!!
It's all in what you like though. I could have purchased many other cars, but I like the Accent SE, neat packaging, neat car, neat style, just really liked it so that sold me.
If you are confident with yourself, you will not care what others think.
