Just surfed in to this site and decided to have a look......could prove useful in discussing any issues i have with my 2003 Trajet CRTD GSI (i have a few comments !). However let me just start by saying what a great car the Traj has been so far...except for a couple of annoying features...read on......
A) Is it me or does the paintwork on Hyundai's seem a little fragile ?...I have only had the car 15 months and the amount of scratches and scuffs on the "Blue Planet" finish is quite incredible...and annoying !
B) Painted finish again !!, this time on the inside....that awful mid grey paited finish on the hanbrake cover, ashtray covers and front facia is looking VERY tired and scruffy !. Not very durable with 3 mad kids as passengers, and the baby seat rubs on the inside of the door ashtray lid exposing yet more black plastic ....aggghhh !.
C) Is it my driving style or is a life of only 18000 miles acceptable for the front tyres ?. By 18500 the chords of the tyre where showing on the inside edges. Hyundai said it was tracking...but at the 10000 mile service everything seemed to be A1, so all this wear ruined 2 front tyres in just 8000 miles....are Trajets prone to tracking problems ?.
