Hey guys, I recently bought a 2000 tib and it has started to stall or just sputter when I try to start it. I replaced the fuel pump and relay and put a new fuel filter in it. Anyone have a suggestion? Also there is a short some when causing the door alarm to ding every once in a while when rolling the drivers side window up or down. any help would be great thanks.

Your door alarm ding could be a bad door switch. Its the black switch on the door wall with a large phillips screw underneath it. You can replace the switch or just remove it as I did ;-) Open the screw, the black switch will dangle out. It is a push connected to a white connector. Pull it out and put the switch back in.

Try changing the sparkplugs. If you just bought it used, you dont know when they were last changed if changed at all. When I put in new spark plugs in my 2000, it took care of the sputtering/stalling I was having.

yes spark plugs would probably go bad and cause the sputtering because hyundais use hemisperical heads which abuse the spark plugs badly because incomming air/fuel and exiting hot exhaust is rushing past it so closly so check then out if its not that it could be an o2 sensor
