I have recently purchased Accent CRDI , could you get me an idea
that the mailage of this vechile, and the maintenance cost.
I came to to know that, initial 1200 km speed shoud not cross 70 km per hour
is it true, it I cross this speed what will hapeen.

Hi,

I have read in my owner manual some limitation for the first 1.000 km. However it was not about average speed, but about Rotation Per Minute.
For my engine (not CRDI, but 1.3 Alpha engine) it was 2.000-4.000 rotation. For a Diesel engine it will be of course less! Please refer to Your manual.
There is also a limitation on the maximum speed 88 km/h for Benzin and I think 3/4 of maximum speed for CRDi.
The last limitation is that You must not tow another vehicle during this "entry period" e.g. 2.000 km for Benzin and 1.000 km for Diesel engine.

So with no fears You can drive at least 88kmh (bot of course not in the 3rd gear, the most imprtant is to keep the rotation as described). Again for CRDi even maybe more - refer to Your manual, in case You cannot find it I can check it for You.

For all cases, Your engine will be more economical and should have longer lifetime if You keep the recommendation.

only thing i am worried about the mailage in city limits with AC always on.
Hundai says it will give 18 km in city limits with AC on , I am very much
doubt about this...
what do you say ?

I did not understand exactly what is Your doubt. Please describe it in detail.

If by AC You mean Air Conditioner, then after reading my manual I was not aware of any limitation regarding AirCondition usage at all. Only remark was, You should turn ON AC for some minutes each week once, so it is lubircated. This is an issue in Europe, we have now winter, so normally noone would turn on AC.
