Being an avid car enthusiast myself and have done HUGE modifications to my SS. I think it would be pretty sweet if Foreign vendors would make Header back exhaust, different variations of High lift cams, Turbos, FMICs, Superchargers , Powertuners etc....I know this type of thought has even crossed their paths but I feel very strongly it may start to draw a croud if the built a demo car..tuned it and tested it for durability. The 06-07 Sonata 3.3 would be a beast no doubt...with 235 HP those mods I listed would easily take it over 300 HP...wouldn't a supercharger look sweet in the engine bay?! LOL here is a teaser of my other beast (IMG: http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h181/ImpSS/jan07004.jpg)

Well, I guess I better show one of my other beasts  (IMG: http://jerrystout.us/sonata/images/89stang.jpg) Time to run 'em ! What is that, an SS what ? I hear ya though about parts for the 06/07 Sonata. I don't think it will be much longer at all before they start coming out with cat-back systems (already a couple out there), headers, chips (a couple for older model Sonatas out there), etc. Not sure about cams with the VVT but I guess they could do it. It would probably take more in R&D than they would make back on those. Larger throttle bodies and bigger injectors I could definitely see to go along with a chip.

Madderhatter..it is an 05 Impala SS...here is another pic.and a quick vid needs tuned badly...She is sleeping for 2 years while i head to korea this comming weekend..i have BIG plans for when I return..is that a 5.0 thunderchicken or stang..what year (IMG: http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h181/ImpSS/may07024.jpg) http://s64.photobucket.com/albums/h181/Imp...nt=mar07036.flvNow back to the subject at hand..yes the VVT might be an issue but some high lift cams , some bigger injectors, headers, exhaust, and some nice tuning or dyno tuning would bring a low 15 sec car to a 13 easy...nobody would expect it out of "JUST A SONATA" LOL (IMG: http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h181/ImpSS/serious_cat.jpg)

Nope. I personally don't care for power adders you have to refill. :) Beautiful Impala and beautiful color too ! You don't see many on the streets.

I too have been alittle let down by the aftermarket scene for the late model sonatas. I sure hope it picks up some. Very nice ride madderhatter... I know with 542 rwhp it's a beast!!! This is my buddies 89 that he had for sale (just sold it yesterday). It only 343 rwhp and it's still one of the hardest pulling cars I have ever been in... I can only imagine what yours must feel like... LOL The videos don't work for some stupid reason and I didn't feel like fixing them since he sold it now, but they are of it on the Dyno Machine. 89 Mustang
