I have a 2004 Getz stock as a rock with 8,000k on the clock and drive it hard. The little beast goes well but through the twisty stuff feels really unsettled. I just want to know if anybody has a rim size though as i would like to go to 16 or 17 inch, and supension setup thoughts.

I know exactly what you mean, I drive my getz hard as well but it does feel a little understeer on the twisties, have been thinkin of new suspension, dampers maybe drop it 30mm but not entirely sure also would like 16's but would want to do both at the same time.
The problem is finding parts, there is a place in glasgow in scotland that do custom suspensions but i'd like to know how this will affect the performance first. A good set of tyres improves handling got toyo t1-s on mine and there great but still a wee bit of the rolly polly chassis there fancy the t1-r but dunno if they will fit
