Sharp lookin' Mini! The control layout sure looks different; is it as roomy inside as it looks?

The Golden beige is my Highway cruiser The pepper white mini is my toy .
The toy goes 0 to 60 in 6 .2 seconds . I love both. Both have design flaws .

How much did you pay for that mini? The SE sonata goes 0 - 60 in 6.6 seconds and out weighs that tiny thing. Mini looks goofy and the interior is set up horribly. I hear that they are a blast to drive but at a .4 second difference I guess its not much different that my sonata.

I agree though, that gold car is friggin amazing, is that a Murcielago?

Either way, congrats on the rides, enjoy. :57:

Those Minis sure do have an interesting interior, I think the pan I cooked breakfast in is of a smaller diameter than your speedometer! :bwekk: Seriously though they are neat little cars. And enfurno, the Mini may not be blazingly fast, but they handle like go karts, very tight, composed chassis

The mini will walk away from your sonata pretty well, assuming equal drivers, that 0.4 seconds is a lot more distance than you would imagine :)

Those are two nice sharp cars you have there John, congrats.

Well actually according to a Car and Driver 2005 test. A Cooper S goes 0-60 in 7.3 sec and finishes the 1/4 mile at 15.5! So in the end it is a drivers race. It would be a drivers race unless you want to race for top speed and thats where I think the Sonata will pull the cooper. BTW I have seen many claims on the Sonata's speed but no one has a sure answer! I have seen 137/142/144/147/153 mph and some even say it got close to 160 through a slipstream or a downhill! Whats the deal? :)

Nice Cooper John!

I now see why you have had so many complaints with the Sonata.....you have hubcaps and not wheels. Everybody knows the gas sloshing and thunks come with the cars that have hubcaps. :whistling:

Hang around man....
