Although I don't drive an accent my girlfriend does its a 1996 hyundai accent and her car just dropped while we were driving and when i got around to looking at it i noticed her front driver side control arm was rusted out and broke. When i contacted the dealer i was told that this was recalled on some accents and to bring in the vin number for it to be checked. If you have not had this problem but have the same year car or any hyundai really you should check into it. Heres a website to to get an idea then you can call your dealer http://www.automotive.com/used-cars/recalls/.

this is for reasons why people should always keep their mailing adresses up to date with the manufacturer. so they can mail you when there is a problem/recall.

Hi
Had my car recalled when it was 10 years old. (in 2005). I was impressed that they cared to recall 10 years old car. First I had to come in with the car for them to look. (there are 2 diffrent types awalable). They found out that my car had the bad type, so they arranged shop meeting and replaced the control arms on both side.
