Hey if dealers see this on our cars, maybe they will be like oh no. It's owners that talk to each other. :hyper:

that was a cling type press on peel off material.

To be absolutely honest, decals are perceived as `boy-racerish` by the general public.

Unfortunately, to date, Hyundai do not manufacture a genuine sports car.....(hopefully soon to be rectified)!.....so decals are really only appropriate on a seriously-modified car.

Although my car falls into this category, I soon found it necessary to remove all the stickers from my Scoupe Turbo (see pics.) as they tended to attract unwelcome attention!.

At the end of the day though, the choice is yours!.

It's funny with people like you that are so far up yourselves. Think of other people's feelings towards their pride and joys. I consider my car not a RICER and I'll be placing stickers on my car.

As for you saying you fall into the category of PERFORMANCE, well I would like you to put your money where your mouth is and when you are in my area, my partner has only a FWD but it will set you back in your place.

HAVE RESPECT FOR OTHERS AND THEIR VEHICLES.

I recently posted a response (which was negative) to this topic......it has been deleted, I hope not for commercial reasons!!.

I will try again.

Stickers on cars, at least in the U.K., are seen as `boy-racerish`......& on a marque such as Hyundai, which is not, currently, perceived as sporting, leads to derision & laughter from on-lookers.

My car (see the link to pics. below) was once fully-stickered......but I subsequently removed them, due to the unwanted attention (& vandalism) they attracted.

Strangely enough, after making this post, I read an item in the Scoupe Forum which clearly belonged in the Tiburon section.......however, on trying to move it to the correct forum, I found that my Moderators powers had been withdrawn!.

Nick.

P.S. Sorry guys, I had not noticed that the replies to this topic spread over 3 pages.
When I looked for my post on page one I thought it had been deleted.....whereas it was on page three all along!. DOH!.

I really hope that you are not just trying to make a `quick buck` by selling  stickers Andy!!.

Your post is still up there, about three or four posts up, and no profit is being made with these decals.

I kind of thought this whole post was pretty much a yes or no. Not all the won'ts & don'ts.

I'm not sure of the final date yet. I think there is still some "bartering" going on to try and get the best product for the best price, that and trying to come to a conclusion on an amount to order. It shouldn't be much longer.

madderhatter,

do u plan to do it as a forum-name decal or a logo?

We did for our club in Malaysia in both forms: windshield decal(outside), club logo(inside): www.mymatrixclub.net logo

The Singapore group did their logo to, slightly smaller tho...Simply Matrix/iClubMatrix/MrLavita...

Sorry, dont have it in my PC to share...No, its here...logo decal on top right...

It's just going to be the forum name decal, we're keeping it simple. I do have samples on the way though ! I'll post up pics when they get here and I put them on the car so everyone can see what they look like "installed".

Got the sample decals today. Hopefully, with weather permitting, I'll get at least one on tomorrow and post up a couple of pics in this thread. Now I just have to figure out where to put them ...

For those wondering, this is what one of the decals will look like on a vehicle.  Of course without the Mustang and a different website address but you get the idea.  White letters and no background.  They are die-cut.

First pic. Clean and simple, I like it. The angle of the pic makes it look a little off or something. I should have put it down a little further, that black band that goes around the back glass makes for great contrast. As it sits it's only partially on it.
