I would get one, except for one thing. My best friend works at a vinyl/decal shop ("Sign Pro") and he told me he'd make me any small decals I want for free...so...yeah. But it's a good idea that you came up with.

Colors would be better and pricing should only go up about $2 per decal.

I like the die cut idea.
That would look good.

I'm in.

I am in for a couple for my small back windows. I agree that colors would be cool and if people are asking I think that they will be willing to pay alittle more for colors if thats what they want.

Thanks for all the input everyone - keep it coming. Once a price is decided I'll definitely post it up. For now we're just gathering interest.

For those wondering, this is what one of the decals will look like on a vehicle.

I've seen those decals, and I think they look nice. White Arial font with no background can't be beaten for a wide variety of cars.

I'd be interested but I'd like something a little more interesting than white. I took 3 minutes and made a few simple designs that you all might like. I can do something alot more detailed and involved but i figured I would keep it simple here. Unless someone wants one made out of wires or riveted steel or something... =)

Why not use the same material colleges are using, a very thin clear plastic that can be applied to BOTH the inside or outside of the window?

Good idea. Those last a good while, but are still easy to remove.

I'd buy one for a good price. If they're "[nowhere] close to $14!" I could swing it.

Designs with multiple colors have already been considered and would *really* drive the price per unit up. More than most would be willing to pay.

that's cool looking, can put it next to my ESC sticker in my car window.. the grey letters that is! not the one that LX guy made , because it is funny looking. I like enfurno's designs too, esp the last one.

Is the free shipping only in the US? I think it's a bit expensive to ship some $2 decals to europe...

There's going to be a few "distributors" for these. I'll be doing the US and Canada. We have another volunteer for Asia and another for Europe.
