I have had my SF for a couple of months now and I am very impressed. It is deffinately the best car i have ever owned. I am planning on giving the car a total ICE upgrade next month and thought I should do some looking around to see what else has been done. I have found this site very usefull. Also plan to have the lights sorted at some stage. So I am putting the below system in, please let me know any tips or hints. I own the CDX+ which also has the flip down DVD in the back, which also houses the only lights and have the same problem as everybody else, has anybody connected this to the front map lights? Does anybody also know the size of the door speakers?

I removed all of my doortrims on the weekend to replace the horrible wood, didn't measure the speaker sizes but found an online manual with all sorts of info, including one point that the speakers are connected to the doors by rivets, the manual said drill out the rivets to remove speakers, then when replacing them use the standard black body screws. (I presume they're available from a Hyundai dealer.

Very interested in more info on your Alpine upgrade, with IPOD. are you going for integrated bluetooth phone too ?
