I own a 2003 Elantra that I am very satisfied with. It has 23000 miles on it. I am interested in purchasing a new 2005 Santa Fe. I was talking to an Asian who has a Santa Fe and he said he has a friend who works for Hyundai who told him that Hyundai Santa Fe's experience serious mechanical problems after 60000 miles.

Has anyone heard of such a story and what is the experience with Santa Fe's with over 60000 miles.

Would appreciate any feedback

Thanks
