Hi friends, :)

My name is Attila and I am from Bratislava/Slovakia. Last month I purchased a new Hyundai Accent (2005, 1.3 SOHC).

I read in the owner manual, there is an emergency code for bypassing immobiliser, which I can use to start the engine in case immobiliser fails. Manual mentions, I should have received this "PIN" from the dealer. My dealer does not know too much of this feature.

Question: Is this code equal to the 4 digit Key Number (received together with keys on a small metal plate), which is is primarily for reproducing keys in case of lost? Did You receive such bypass code from Your dealer and was it different to key number? :o

Thanks and best wishes from Central Europe, Attila

Hi..

I am from India, when I took delivery i did enquire about the immobilisar code.I was told by the service engineers, generally at the time of manufacture they may have standard code for each batch produced, He said he will supply that. But I dont think key no has to do anything with that.any how U can check with your dealer.

Regards.
